DC United goalkeeper Bill Hamid was given a red card just seven minutes into Saturday's match against Toronto FC after he charged after the ball and ended up flipping his opponent over. DC United's Brandon McDonald and Toronto's Eric Avila were racing after the ball when Hamid charged out of his area. The 20-year-old collided with Avila, taking out his left and putting him on his back. After watching the instant replay, the announcer said it was a "perfect example of poor understanding" on Hamid and McDonald. The match resulted in a 3-3 draw.
