Hope Solo To Pose Naked? World Cup Star Hints At Nude Photo Shoot On Twitter

It appears that the fantasies of many libidinous male soccer fans (and many non fans, presumably) have been answered as the fetching goalkeeper of the U.S. Women's National Team, Hope Solo, hinted on her Twitter account on Tuesday that she will pose naked in the famed "Body Issue" of ESPN The Magazine.

"The Body Issue" features male and female professional athletes posing naked in a tasteful fashion. Last year's issue had photos of Serena Williams, Dwight Howard and Adrian Peterson in the buff, among many others.

As she recently told The Huffington Post's Jordan Schultz, Solo has been very busy in recent weeks following the conclusion of the Women's World Cup, in which her U.S. team was defeated in the final by Japan.

"I flew to LA when most people went home, and I did the media circuit there," she told The Huffington Post. "I think that's our responsibility; I need to keep the awareness of the game out there, but I also need to thank our fans."

Despite the tremendous outpouring of support the team received during the World Cup and the tireless efforts of Solo and her teammates since returning home, the Women's Professional Soccer League continues to struggle, seemingly unable to carry the World Cup interest over to the domestic league.

Perhaps, Solo can generate another wave of momentum, and probably keep the marriage proposals piling up, by posing naked for ESPN The Magazine.

Please don't flip on me for this one but in my opinion a lot of these magazines in which woman pose nude aren't always that bad. In my opinion there is a difference between porn and the celebration of the female body. I mean thank the lord we can find a woman attractive, I mean how else would we procreate. Hope is a good looking gal and it is technically up to her. I mean it really isn't necessary for her to all of a sudden strip for a mag because shes in the spot light and is getting paid. But we don't chose for her. beauty has been celebrated for ages and it is the same know. (we can over do it at times as well though)

Yup, this isn't going to be porn. Instead its likely not going to show anything you couldn't see on her at the beach or pool. I'm sure it will be artfully done. Still, I wouldn't mind seeing it.

Ok ,Ok, I bit and the headline made it sound like old school penthouse, playboy, hustler (are any of these around still) or one of the web sites offerred her loads of mula to go buff.

Now I see it is of the tastefull type in The Body Issue like last year...i say pleazzzze do it lets see the goods, of course with a ball strategically placed :)
