Don't forget mitt's 'business experience'; it consists of using his daddy's money to buy companies, fire the 'overpaid' workers and sending the jobs to Mexico, China and Viet Nam.

Mitt Romney is very sleazy and I truly do not believe he has a moral ethical trait in him. He will say what he has to say, do what he has to do and lie to do what he has to do...to get favored status. He lives a lie...and proves it daily.

Between this and his "corporations are people" speech today, I think his campaign might be over even before the debate begins. And he was the more-electable of the crowd? Sheesh....

He'll be the nominee because he's the only sane one in the group.

Oh you nit-pickers, consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds.. Mitt's thinking deep thoughts. He wants to be President so he can do to the whole country what he did to the workers of the companies Bain Capital bought up, fire as many as he can, ship the jobs overseas, and then ask for a government subsidy for his efforts.

There are so many GOP contenders, why not run all of them as the GOP nominee? Give the electorate a chance to pick and choose from a menu of right wing Evangelicals or potential televangelists like a smorgasbord menu at a cheap pancake house.

I'll have the GOP Flake du jour, merci beaucoup.

Still waiting for the shoe to drop to see what game is afoot for S&P.

Lies in MA:

When you think of Mitt, think dishonest. His lies are the slickest, tho, and slip thru fingers like minnows. Think Romney Care, and know in mA there is a public option. Thanks, Mitt.

However, Mitt won the election because the Progressive Dems ran a candidate = to Martha Coakley, she critized Mitt for escuing the poor, then, during debate claimed that when she turned up a fund raisers that was her public service to the poor. Mitt, of course, had all those soup kitchen photo ops to brag on.

However, he ran on his promise to create good business environment and create jobs. Sorry, Mitt, you are a big fail for MA business. People moved out of MA then unemployment went down. LOL Mitt's great downsizing plan!

Mitt's philosophy is only income tax is a tax. He shifted tax burdon from a progressive tax system to regressive system....

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mitt_Romney

The cuts in state spending put added pressure on local property taxes; the share of town and city revenues coming from property taxes rose from 49 percent to 53 percent.[83][92] The combined state and local tax burden in Massachusetts increased during Romney's governorship but still was below the national average.[83] According to the Tax Foundation, that per capita burden was 9.8 percent in 2002 (below the national average of 10.3 percent), and 10.5 percent in 2006 (below the national average of 10.8 percent).[97]

What he really meant:

“When I was governor, S&P rewarded Massachusetts with a credit rating upgrade for our sound fiscal management and the underlying strength of our economy,” Romney boasted. “That didn’t happen by accident (it happened because we had the sense to implement a balanced budget approach including TAX INCREASES that IMPROVED our economy). The GOP's failure to put the nation’s fiscal and economic house BEFORE their rigid ideology (that prompted us to take our country hostage in an act of ECONOMIC TERRORISM) has caused a massive loss of confidence that resulted in an embarrassing downgrade.”

It's kind of hard for the President to "put our fiscal house in order" when the repubs have sworn an oath (to Grover Norquist) that is in direct CONFLICT OF INTEREST with the oath they have sworn to the American people. It is THIS oath (with the help of the "tea" for brains wing of the party) that has our President hamstrung and will DESTROY our country!!! But it doesn't help that our Pres. is not much of a negotiator and gives them far too much latitude. He should have taken the 14th amendment to raise the debt ceiling rather than negotiating with tearorrorists.

Neah, he'd never say that, that might win him some votes, but it would make Boss Rush very angry.
