Throughout his 19 years in the NBA, Shaquille O'Neal was disproportionately larger than nearly everyone he played against. But despite being most physically imposing specimen to roam the hardwood since Wilt Chamberlain, Shaq often had a broad, bright smile built to scale for his massive frame.
Jocular and jovial, he was always good for a hilarious quote or a memorable nickname. This is why it was a no-brainer for him to join "Inside The NBA" so quickly after he announced his retirement.
Perhaps Shaq could be so silly at times because there was no mistaking how much damage he could do if he wanted. He revealed a glimpse of his darker side, albeit in a typically funny fashion, when he went on this week's episode of "Inside MMA" on HDNet and was asked which players in the NBA he would like to fight.
The recently retired all-star center said he would answer the question with some "old-school players."
