Director David Lynch's 'Crazy Clown Time' Album, Out November 8 (VIDEO)

Guess The Title Of David Lynch's New Pop Album

Director David Lynch, who announced late last year that he would be branching out into pop music, will release a full album on UK label Sunday Best in November. Pitchfork reports that the album is called Crazy Clown Time, and features Yeah Yeah Yeahs frontwoman Karen O on one song.

Lynch has released two songs from the album, titled "Good Day Today" and "I Know." Sunday Best solicited submissions for the "Good Day Today" video; the winning video is embedded below.

Pitchfork interviewed Lynch in December about the then-nascent project, and it was clear that the director's trademark enthusiasm translated to his new medium.

Lynch credited his interest in making music to longtime collaborator Angelo Badalamenti, and added: "I just love musicians. They're not all super-happy all the time, but when they're playing they're happy, and it's such a beautiful thing. I also like them because they sleep late in the morning; they're more like children."
