San Francisco Street Food Festival: Famous Tamales, Jello Shots, Moth Tacos

Get ready for La Cocina's third annual San Francisco Street Food Festival!

Gut-busting goodies are yours for the hoarding this Saturday, August 20 from 11am to 7pm along Folsom Street in the Mission. Save money by getting your passports ahead of time and go early to soak in the vibrant street food scene. Check the website beforehand for important transportation/ticket info. About 60 vendors will be there to feed you -- there will also be much more space so you can eat and browse with ease.

Alicia's Tamales Los Mayas

Alicia's mini tamales are literally to die for. Stuffed with love, they are also filled with pork, chicken, and queso Oaxaceno con rajas. Served with a green avocado sauce, this is one item you can eat over and over. (
