Dean H. Meginniss, a 54-year-old man from Spokane, was arrested at an eastern Washington lake on Sunday after authorities received a complaint that he was fishing naked, according to reports from KREM 2 News and the Spokane County Sheriff's Office.
"He was sitting with his legs wide open, fishing pole in hand, enjoying his day," Nicholas Tilson, an employee at the resort who confronted the naked fisherman, told the news station.
"It wasn't a pretty sight," Tilson added.
According to KREM 2 News, a man fishing with his two young sons called authorities after Meginniss allegedly stood up naked in his boat, exposing himself to the family as they were passing by.
The Spokane County sheriff arrested Meginniss on charges of indecent exposure and stalking, the latter for which he had an outstanding warrant. Meginniss was convicted of indecent exposure in 2009.
