New Zealand Snow: Biggest Snowfall In Last 30 Years Delights People In The Street

This week's freak snowfall in New Zealand wouldn't be a realized extreme weather event without its share of dramatic footage set to classical music (See last year's Man In A Blizzard). Our latest features the joyful upturned faces of passersby in Wellington's Cuba Mall, caught in the first significant snowfall in 30 years. It's a pretty scene, but it gets especially surreal at a minute and 15 seconds in, when an inexplicably angry kid shows up to counter all the squeeing. Of all the loveable characters in this short film, he is our favorite.
