Few players are under as much scrutiny during the NFL preseason as highly-drafted rookies, like No. 1 pick Cam Newton and No. 2 selection Von Miller, who are looking to break into the starting lineup and to justify the exorbitant contracts that they were awarded without having ever played a professional down.
