KitchenDaily:

After finding the best milk chocolates in one of KitchenDaily's most popular taste tests, our editors thought it only fair to find the best dark chocolates on the market. Tasting brands that ranged in price from $1.79 to $7.99, we were pleasantly surprised when two of the top five chocolates came from a surprisingly affordable source -- Trader Joe's!

No Hageland? If you tend to get migraines from chocolate then Hageland might be for you. Walmarts carries it in huge bars. (I can't stand Walmarts but my husband likes that brand and it's the only place in town that carries it)

I think some some of these chocolates tested might be very hard to find in some places. I have no Trader Joe's in my state. *drat!*

Any chocolate from Switzerland would win in my taste tests. Best anywhere

Michel Cluizel 72% is incredibly delicious dark chocolate and one of my favorites! Glad to see it deservedly won the taste test.

True! But they did not offer that as a tester. Nor did they offer any of the Lindt Origins Excellence line, the 85 or 90% or 99% Lindt bars. I do not really care what anyone says the Madagasgar and Ecuador Origins bars are heavenly!

Sticking with one chocolate will ensure it doesn't stay the best chocolate to your palate. You gotta mix it up.

As long as I have a big glass of milk, dark chocolate works just fine.

Kitchen Daily is kind of a joke when it comes to reviewing food... they forgot a lot of good ones on there, especially Chocolate from Callebaut for a good inexpensive dark chocolate and even Valhrona.
