Louis Gohmert: Obama Riding 'Darth Vader Bus' On 'Magical Misery Tour' (VIDEO)

U.S. Rep. Louis Gohmert (R-Texas) criticized President Barack Obama's bus tour of the Midwest during an appearance on Fox Business Tuesday night.

The Republican congressman characterized the trip as the president riding in "his Darth Vader bus" on a "magical misery tour." He also compared Obama to an "evil emperor."

Gohmert suggested the president needs to "stop this hurtful rhetoric" when it comes to his support of the wealthy Americans paying their fair share when it comes to taxes.

The White House bus tour has taken the president through Minnesota, Iowa and Illinois. The trip has given Obama the opportunity to meet with constituents and speak about the job crisis, as well as the state of the economy after the deficit debate.

What about taxpayers paying for the Cheney "secret vaults" and the huge "man size vault"?

No GOP or "tea partiers" complaining about that.

The Secret Service has come up with the new buses to avoid trying to lease other bus vehicles & retrofitting them with the complex equipment needed which has to be removed before they turn in the leased buses which is more costly than actually buying a bus that is permanent that will never have to go through the laborious process they used before.

These buses are to house any President, not just Obama, maybe the next Republican President and they will be used for the GOP upcoming campaigns, these buses will be utilized for many candidates and will be used for the GOP as well.

This is just another right wing smear campaign because if this budget item was approved by Congress which holds the purse strings and is now a GOP majority then the questions should be directed at the GOP and their recent budget bill they passed.

Thank you HuffPo for keeping this piece short. Better yet, pretend that Gohmert does not exist. There are plenty of unnoticed Representatives with more class and intelligence to focus on. Even as a reflection of the people of Texas, Gohmert is outshone by Perry, Bush, and Rove, so inconsequential.
