Paul and Ringo are the latest musicians to throw in with Why Music Matters, the year-old campaign intended to shame you from BitTorrenting. In WMM’s quest to get artists paid, they’ve pushed out animated videos featuring bands as dissimilar as Iron Maiden and Stevie Wonder, and now they shabash their most powerfully-coiffed subjects yet. Animator Lee Gingold ended up writing himself into the story, which documents a young Gingold hearing Octopus’ Garden from his window and falling head over heels. No mention of Piggies, the greatest Beatles song ever written, but there’s apparently an animated Bill Murray somewhere in the last soaring scene.
