Michele Bachmann Falsely Billed Herself As A Doctor

On the campaign trail in Iowa, Rep. Michele Bachmann's response to the argument that she lacks the experience to run for president has been to turn the argument on its head. The Minnesota congresswoman rattles off her resume: She was a federal tax litigation attorney; she and her husband started "a successful small company"; she fought the establishment in the state Legislature and Congress.

You know the more I learn about Michele Bachmann the less i like anytihng about her.She is a phoney and a fraud.Posing as Dr. because she has a Law degree.really the average honest
American would not try that but I suppose she is above the law like most politicians!She is an embarassment really.We expect more from our public servants!

Michele does not have a doctorate which in everyday language is not the same thing as saying she said she was a doctor, which generally is assumed to mean a licensed physician.

On the other hand she is a flake and a liar, but then we already knew that.

Since Bachmann likes to exaggerate some media outlet should confirm that she took and passed the bar exam. If she did not then she really cannot call herself an attorney period, not just Minnesota.

This article is so moranic.

As indicated in the article, she an attorney and graduated from law school with a J.D. A J.D. stands for Juris Doctor or Juris Doctorate. In other words, every person with a J.D. is a doctor, technically a doctor of law. This is why professors in law schools have a J.D., not a Ph.D. in law. This is common knowledge in the legal world, so it's amazing the fact checkers didn't catch this obvious fact.
