Keanu Reeves' First TV Commercial (VIDEO)

Keanu Reeves, Is That You?!

Everyone has to get their start somewhere--even A-list celebrities like Keanu Reeves. Long before he made hearts race in "Speed" and even before he stepped into that time-travelling phone booth in "Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure", Reeves stared in a classic Coca-Cola commercial.

In an unearthed advertisement from a time long before DVR and Hulu, a 16-year-old Reeves strapped on his helmet, put on a pair of bike shorts for a bike race in which an ice cold Coke was his reward for finishing the race in second place. Because a Coke is the first thing you want after completing a bike race, obviously.

We bet Reeves would have gone a lot faster if he knew there was a ticking time bomb under his seat.

But the real emotion of the 30 second commercial comes when another competitor asks a worn out Reeves, "Who's your coach?"

And in the actor's classic surfer-guy speech, he replies, "My daaaad."

A few months ago, Reeves confirmed to MTV that a long-gestating sequel to the classic films "Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure" and "Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey" is on its way, with a draft of a screenplay nearly finished.
