Kim Kardashian Invites Ellen DeGeneres To Wedding After She Reportedly Cut 50 People From Her Invite List

If you're an A-list celebrity who didn't get invited to Kim Kardashian's wedding on Saturday August 20th, all hope is not lost -- a little tweeting could go a long way.

That's what Ellen DeGeneres did. The talk show host, who just celebrated her third wedding anniversary with actress Portia de Rossi, tweeted yesterday:

"No invitation to @KimKardashian's wedding yet. #WorstThingInTheWorld."

But don't fret Ellen, Kim saw your tweet and responded:

The last minute invitation seems a little strange, given that it has been reported that Kim had to cut nearly 50 guests from her invite list.

The New York Post reports that the bride-to-be actually disinvited some of her stepfather Bruce Jenner's extended family and has instituted a strict, "no-plus-one" policy.

Perhaps that policy doesn't apply to celebrities who could continue to help her career.

Kim is set to marry NBA player Kris Humphries tomorrow at the Sotto Il Monte estate in Montecito, California and the guest list is said to include stars like Demi Lovato, Justin Bieber, Venus and Serena Williams, Will and Jada Pinkett Smith, Nicole Richie, Kelly Osbourne, Ryan Seacrest, Kathy Lee Gifford, Jennifer Lopez, Eva Longoria, Maria Menounos, and Mark Ballas.

Did Kim really cut her 50 people from her wedding, including some extended family members? According to The New York Post, her reps said "no comment."

The best to the newlyweds. I watch the Kardashians every now and then but I'm not much into TV reality shows or any other shows other than keeping up with the news, real news, that's not part of Faux News.
Kardashians are the modern Leave it to Beaver or Ozzie and Harriet type of family show.

Personally I find the Kardashians very entertaining, and I'm happy for Kim, but I noticed that no A list celebs actually attended this wedding, though many were reportedly invited--hence, the story about people being disinvited, in order to save face?? Hmmmm... if so, that had to burn a bit, to be reminded on one's wedding day that one is "not all that," or who they would like to be socially.. kind of a slap in the face.. all the more because it's obvious why (which I won't mention) oh well, the money is consolation, they are rolling in it! Congrats K&K, long life, much love, screw the haterz and enjoy your lives together..

Kim and Kris...I guess she's keeping up the "K" name tradition. I wonder how much of this was just a business venture and if they even stay together. One thing is for sure: I used to teach up in Appalachia and they sure could have used some of the money from this over-the-top wedding up there!

Loayalty to family is important, but i guess she inherited the "go for the $$$ DNA" from her mother and father. Bruce helped raise her and was rewarded by having his family cut from Kims wedding and finding Chloe was getting married off of TV !!

I dont see much hope for the younger step sisters turning out better either

Bruce is no victim. Kris (his third wife) raised her kids to be exactly like they are are and was completely complicit in it. And the younger ones are no different...they say and do exactly as they please. I watched about 3 episodes of the show plus I see snips when I am flipping channels.

Bieber is covered wherever he goes, so huge audience there. Ellen has the big audience from her talk show. Kathy Lee Gifford will talk about it on the Today show... Wow - so much free publicity.

Why does the media keep foisting these imbiciles in our faces? I don't need or want articles and information about these talentless club/bed hoppers. The public doesn't make celebrities these days - the media controls it all. Just like they did with Ashley Simpson, Paris Hilton, Kate Gosslin, Bristol Palin, etc. The real world doesn't care about these dweebs, but the media has nothing better to do than promote no-talent nitwits.
