On this morning's 'Fox and Friends,' footage filmed after yesterday's broadcast shows anchor Gretchen Carlson dropping to the studio floor and doing 20 pushups like it's no big deal - in a dress. "Check it out, this is what you miss if you don't stick around for the 'After the Show Show.' Yesterday we were joined by firefighters [from] this year's 'Nation's Bravest Calendar.' One of them showed us how they keep in shape," anchor Dave Briggs explains as footage shows a shirtless firefighter doing one-armed pushups. "Now take a look at our Miss November, Gretchen Carlson. She gets down and gives us more than 20 pushups in a row," anchor Brian Kilmeade reports as footage of Carlson's feat rolls. According to Carlson, even though she hates pushups, "It's the most important exercise you can do, I think."

I just paid $22.87 for an iPad2-64GB and my girlfriend loves her Panasonic Lumix GF 1 Camera that we got for $38.76 there arriving tomorrow by UPS. I will never pay such expensive retail prices in stores again. Especially when I also sold a 40 inch LED TV to my boss for $675 which only cost me $62.81 to buy. Why is this 3 day old "story" still here, and why am I still getting email replies to my comments. The majority of comments on these pages are so pubescent, I wanted to reply "I know I am, but what are you" as though still in sixth grade.

If this the fox audience, sorry for you.

i think its great ,,, more power too her, i think everyone should be fit,, america is a fat nation,, not enough can do 20 push ups which in of itself is sad

What a shame, some of the comments passed back and forth. I am not a fan of Fox news or Gretchen. I do have to say that she gave better push-ups than the fireman. She went much further down than the ones he was doing. More of a "correct" push up. Good for her. Just because I don't agree with Fox News or some of the things I have heard her say has nothing to do with this. It's you people that cannot seem to seperate emotions from facts that keep this country devided. My favorite bumper sticker would read " Too bad ignorance isn't painful." Then the rest of us can stay away from those of you that are wincing

And her pushups were the real thing - body planked and ending each rep with arms fully extended. Not sure what the fireman was doing were legitimate pushups.

Proud of her as she modeled to American women that women with careers can and do take keeping in shape seriously. Also, the fact she didn't have to go put her gym clothes on to do it, is more of an inspiration to women who might find a moment at lunch or somehwere maybe a little privare in their workday, to do just what she did. Get a little of her workout done at work, so it is not put of till tomorrow.l Proud of her for sure!
