From reports involving women battling technology to people wielding knives, there's a stock photo for every type of story. After all, how else are us journalists expected to add generic and cheap dimensions to our articles?

Case in point: stories that can only be properly represented by an image of someone holding a miniature house. Stories about what, exactly? We don't know, but they must be out there, because the stock photo world can't get enough of couples, families and lucky singles clutching these little guys. We picked out some of the weirdest ones below -- vote for the funniest one!

i know all comedy is subjective, but this "ridiculous stock photo" series you've been putting out lately is probably the laziest attempt at being funny I've ever seen. but i still clicked on it, so the jokes on me i guess
