Gavin Degraw is sending out a message to his fans, letting them know he is on the mend.
The "Not Over You" singer is currently home recovering, after he was brutally beaten and struck by a taxi cab in New York City, in the very early hours of August 8th. The 34-year-old singer was rushed to the hospital suffering a broken nose and a concussion following the incident. He was released a few days later and has been recovering at home since.
There are not many details surrounding the incident, even Degraw himself is not exactly sure how the unfortunate events played out. He tweeted, "Hi my friends. Honestly, I don't remember much. I only know I can recover from here. Thank u all for your genuine concern. I love u guys."
Degraw spoke with VH1 recently, sharing a message with his fans that although he is not quite back to 100%, he is well on his way and thanked all the well wishers, saying, "I’m overwhelmed with the outpouring of support from my fans, friends, and family."
Degraw was forced to cancel tour dates and appearances because of his injuries, but is still planning on the September release of his next album, "Sweeter."
