Che Remembered In T-Shirt Form

Argentine Marxist revolutionary, Ernesto “Che” Guevara, is famous not only for his role in the Cuban revolution but also for his role in college campus fashion. Based on a photo taken by Cuban photographer Alberto Korda, the striking portrait has been reproduced on millions of t-shirts, tote bags, and bumper stickers. Loyal to Guevara’s ideals, Korda didn't require compensation for the use of the image, despite its popularity.

Almost as trendy as wearing a Che Guevara shirt, is wearing a shirt that makes reference to a Che Guevara shirt. Check out the examples below and tell us what you think.

Marxists need an active and visible spokesman, and capitalists need that cash. I would ascertain that most sporting the shirt are just giving authority and forced morality the finger.

The photographer was Alberto Korda, with K.

Rodrigo de la Serna, who played young Ernesto Guevara's friend Alberto Granado in "The Motorcycle Diaries", is Che's real-life second cousin.
