Geez, there are more lesbians at Smith College than hetero girls, and it doesn't make the list?

They're totally missing my college. I haven't heard of a college more LGBT friendly than The Evergreen State College. It's well known in the area, there've been billboards up about it: http://bit.ly/n8VlYd (this image sells as a postcard in the school bookstore)

Yet another article focusing on sexual orientation. Where's the article about the 10 Most Heterosexual friendly colleges? Nowhere because nobody cares. I hope people are basing their education choice on receiving a quality education, not how many gays are part of the student body. Ridiculous!

I'd put money on such a list that you suggest naming the exact same schools. Even if you are not concerned with the needs of LGBT students, it doesn't invalidate their concerns while attending college.

Most hetero-freindly colleges? Hmm lets see....that would be ALL OF THEM. Dont be asinine. The article has nothing to do with the quality of education at these schools at all. Its about where people are not being horribly discriminated against (as much) because of their orientation.

While I agree with most that is on this list, this list is rather mis-leading. The Princeton Review does not base its research on hard facts. It is based on a limited survey and does not ask questions about policy, it only asks a question like: Do you consider your LGBT Friendly? Anyone can answer and there is no fact checking to see if their opinions really match the facts.

I would suggest people use the Campus Climate Index to get the real information. Visit campusclimateindex.org there are close to 300 campuses listed.

Wellesly college -- seems to me this is the original home of PC -- Political Correctness. Their thoughts are your thoughts and you will have no thoughts but what you are permitted to have.
