David Letterman Responds To Jihadist Death Threat (VIDEO)

WATCH: Letterman Responds To Jihadist Death Threat

When you're a comedian and somebody calls for your death, there's really only one way to deal with it: make jokes.

On Monday night's "Late Show" David Letterman did just that in response to a call for his tongue to be removed, among other things made recently on a jihadist website. Letterman hardly seemed intimidated during his monologue as he joked about reviewing his life insurance policy with CBS and all the people in the world who (probably) hate him.

"I wish I had a nickel..." Letterman joked.

The threat was publicized last Wednesday and seems to have been incited by a joke Letterman made about the death of fallen al Qaeda leader Ilyas Kashmir.

According to Letterman's response below -- a short reel featuring everyone who hates him -- the comic's response to the threat appears to be, "Get in line."
