Joseph Gordon-Levitt Covers 'Lithium' By Nirvana In Seattle (VIDEO)

Joseph Gordon-Levitt Channels Kurt Cobain

Could Joseph Gordon-Levitt be any cooler?

The sweetheart from "(500) Days of Summer," the dapper co-star of "Inception" and soon-to-be Batman's ally in the upcoming epic, "The Dark Knight Rises," JGL is also a standout musician and multimedia artist. He runs the collaborative HitRECord, which takes submissions from musicians and filmmakers and writers to create new content, and Wednesday night in Seattle, the group held an event to put together some work.

Given that he was in Seattle, though, he had to show some love to one of his inspirations: late Nirvana lead singer, Kurt Cobain. The crowd went nuts as he strummed the opening chords of "Lithium," and his rendition is pretty awesome and faithful to the original.

Gordon-Levitt will next be seen in the dramedy, "50/50," with Seth Rogen, Anna Kendrick and Bryce Dallas Howard.
