Will Kim Kardashian And Kris Humphries' Wedding Benefit Charity? (SLIDESHOW)

Show The Love: Will Kim And Kris' Wedding Benefit Charity?

Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries' nuptials have been widely touted as our version of the Royal Wedding. The New York Post even reports that Kris Humphries' friends have dubbed him "Kate Middleton" since he "married into royalty."

With this regal title -- and in an age of celebrity giving -- one might expect to hear reports of Kim and Kris' wedding including, say, charitable donations in lieu of gifts, a la Will and Kate; or donating photo earnings to help those less fortunate, as Catherine Zeta Jones and Michael Douglas did back in 2000.

So will Kim and Kris be next? The Huffington Post reached out to Kardashian-Humphries' press person to find out, but received no response back.

Kardashian-Humphries does have a decent philanthropic track record, according to Look to the Stars. She donates to the Dream Foundation, which helps people with terminal illnesses. She also contributes to the Calabasas, Calif. church her mother helped found.

Back in April, she told Self magazine that helping others gives her warm fuzzies:

"Donating to charity makes me feel good. I give away 10 percent of my money to different charities, like the Dream Foundation. If I can help someone with a terminal illness visit a loved one they might not have been with for 10 years, it's the greatest feeling in the world to me. If you give away, you'll always prosper."

People magazine released its cover story Wednesday of the couple's wedding. The magazine paid $1.5 million for the photos, according to NYmag.com.

All told, it's estimated that the wedding could earn $17 million for Kim, Kris, her family and E! show producers, according to USWeekly.
