Libyan Leader Muammar Gaddafi Kept Scrapbook Of Condoleezza Rice

The ransacking of Moammar Gadhafi's compound is turning up some bizarre loot. Following on from the Libyan leader's eccentric fashion accessories and his daughter's golden mermaid couch, the latest discovery is a photo album filled with page after page of pictures of Condoleezza Rice.

The former U.S. Secretary of State paid a visit to Tripoli in 2008 during a brief interlude that saw Gadhafi begin to be welcomed back into the international fold. As Jason Ukman of the Washington Post wrote on Wednesday, "it was only three short years ago that Rice shared a late-night dinner with Gaddafi to break the Ramadan fast, three short years ago that the United States and Libya were celebrating what was to be a new chapter in their relations."

So Im supposed to believe these same rebels that were claiming they had Ghadaffi's son under arrest when they really didnt.
These rebels have proven time and again that they are racist, so I will not buy into their propaganda.

I think it's unfair to doubt Condi's ethnicity because she's educated, articulate and should
be a role model for the younger generations to aspire to. Her political association is her
choice like all of us have choices but the fact of matter is she EDUCATED and if more
of the younger generation can have a goal to dream big (not for sports or entertainment) then
the welfare system wouldn't be such an issue....but maybe I'm dreaming!

Finally we have proof that Muammar Gaddafi really IS insane! I mean, he was dictator of an entire country, and could have had any woman in Libya he wanted, but instead, he got all obsessed with the Secretary of State of a country he thought was imperialist and evil and went around denouncing all the time. Maybe the thing about Condoleezza Rice that he liked was that she actually had POWER, the thing he is so obsessed with too, plus she is still single and has never married, and if you look at how many kids Muammar Gaddafi has and the size of his porn collection, he definitely is into women... and also a bit bi-curious, since he had some gay porn too. Anyway, my point is, Muammar Gaddafi is completely insane, since he could have had any woman he wanted in Libya but instead wanted a woman in charge of foreign policy for a country he despised. That being said, if he has a thing for women who have power, I wouldn't be surprised if he has a huge collection of photos of German Chancellor Angela Merkel or if he had a crush on Margaret Thatcher.

Does anyone really believe that someone that owns a country would offer a mere $200.000 diamond ring to America's Sec. of State, particularly when he wants to impress her?? Does anyone really believe that it isn't a copy that gets turned over to the U.S. gov't.?? I know human nature, particularly the human nature of politicians and diplomats. Have an assay performed on the ring if you want the truth.

These comments are hilarious. I don't know why it's such a surprise that an Arab man has an affection for a black woman. It is common place on the continent of Africa as many Arab men take on African wives and it's no big deal. Do people even know what the history is between Arab man and black women, specifically black African women? Inter-marriages between the two has been happening for hundreds of years if not over a thousand years. It's only news on this side of the world because the general low opinion of black women. Gaddafi comments about Condi are not unusual to those of us who are familiar Arab-African cultural context. And yes even wealthy Arab men marry African women without a second thought.

Interesting! Although the "evidence" is purely anecdotal, it appears that there may be quite a few Arabs dudes who have a thing for the sisters (between this story and the late Osama bin Laden's oft-reported obsession with Whitney Houston).

I have this image of Gadhafi on a Saturday night right after dying his hair where he is snipping out magazine articles to put in his scrap book. He's surrounded by all sorts of scrap booking paraphernalia and he draws little pink hearts around Condoleezza's head. The big guy has a soft spot. Awww...

The official record of her visits to Tripoli is clear. What about the unofficial, after all he had his personal jet available to pick up whomever he wanted, anywhere and anytime he wanted. That is the most important record at the airport and may account for the fight there.
