Natalia Vodianova To Star In 'Belle du Seigneur' With Jonathan Rhys Meyers

Looks like between hosting wild parties and romping around with Antoine Arnault in Ibiza, Natalia Vodianova has still found time to work -- and not just modeling.

Her latest gig, says Elle UK, is an acting role in "Belle du Seigneur," a World War II love story set to debut in 2012.

The movie, filmed in English in Geneva, stars Jonathan Rhys Meyers ("Tudors") as a high-ranking Jewish diplomat who becomes involved in a love affair with a non-Jewish, married Swiss woman (that'd be Natalia).

The Russian stunner, writes Elle UK, had a cameo as Medusa in the action flick "Clash of the Titans" and of course she's spent years in front of the camera, shooting every fashion magazine under the sun (most recently, for Vogue Turkey's September issue).

But come 2012 the model-mom will have to prove her acting chops (and in her non-native English, no less). She landed the gig a while back, as Deadline reported last September -- but with so many models taking to the silver screen lately, including Rosie Huntington-Whiteley's critically panned turn in "Transformers 3," Vodianova will have to convince audiences that she's not just a pretty face.
