'The Daily Show' Explains The Differences Between Republicans & Democrats (VIDEO)

We can only imagine what Jon Stewart and rest of "The Daily Show" team would have said about Hurricane Irene slamming into the East Coast this week (and let's not forget about the earthquake). But, "The Best F#@king News Team" has been providing some funny web-exclusive segments about some of our favorite political topics while the show is on hiatus.

This time Wyatt Cenac, Samantha Bee, Jason Jones, Aasif Mandvi and John Oliver bring us two videos explaining both the Republican and Democratic parties. Let's jus say these jokes are equal-opportunity offenders.

For example, in the first video you'll hear how the GOP earns its money through lineage, doesn't believe in Mexicans and, at their barbecues, even the coleslaw has meat in it. And if you scroll down, you'll hear how Democrats feel about socioeconomic disparity as well as how much they love Mexicans, healthcare and accidentally tweeting pictures of their junk.

Hey, we all have our plusses and minuses, right?

Generally, Democrats vote to make things better for the most people. Republicans vote to make things better for thenselves. Trouble is, most of the Republican base doesn't know what's better for themselves.

It's interesting to see it. I laughed at the Democrat description, but more at the Republicans. It's nice to see an actual comparison. It verifies my opinion that one side makes a much easier target than the other.

The best explanation of the difference I've heard lately is that the Democrats will take your dollar and give you fifty cents back, while the Republicans take your dollar, give you a dime back and tell you it's 75 cents.

I wonder where that song originally came from. It does not describe the current administration very well, although I do see where you baggers might think otherwise.

Also, that bit at the end is interesting. Why do you people think that Obama is hiding behind the problems Bush created? Obama has bent over backwards, pissing off many of his supporters in the process, to avoid calling out the Republicans for the debacle that was the Bush administration.

The whole "Mexican labor" take isn't true, it's the rich whites who want cheap labor while pretending to want to kick out illegals and everyone knows it so how can you build a satire on a falsehood?..oh and incidentally the people who write for Stewart have no comic timing and no idea how to build a joke. On the issue of creationism vs. evolution, Repubs believe in creationism and Dems believe in evolution.

On the issue of capitalism vs. socialism, Repubs believe in evolution (survival of the fittest) and Dems believe in Christian principles (such as helping the poor).
