After dropping the most anticipated album of the summer, Jay-Z and Kanye West have another trick up their sleeves.
According to E!, the two were last minute additions to MTV's VMA performers list on Saturday, giving name to the slot left blank by the network in its original lineup. It's uncertain what they might perform, though it would figure that they'd promote their album, "Watch The Throne," with one of its singles.
As of Wednesday, the long-delayed album had sold 613,000 copies and was sitting atop the Billboard Top 200 chart.
MTV sent out a press release Wednesday naming the show's other performers, which include Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Adele, Bruno Mars, Lil Wayne, Chris Brown, Pitbull, Ne-Yo and Young The Giant.
