Gaddafi Family Nanny Describes Physical Abuse At Son's Seaside Condo (GRAPHIC VIDEO)

First Posted: 08/29/11 12:38 PM ET Updated: 10/29/11 06:12 AM ET

With its panoramic views and opulent furniture, the seaside home of Hannibal Gaddafi more closely resembles a luxury resort than a private residence. But a closer inspection of the home following Libyan rebels' ransacking has now revealed some of the unspeakable horrors to have allegedly taken place on its premises -- even among those trusted to take care of the colonel's grandchildren.

As CNN is reporting, Shweyga Mullah, an Ethiopian woman who'd been working as a nanny to Hannibal's two children, claims she suffered brutal abuse at the hands of Hannibal's wife, Aline.

"She took me to a bathroom and tied my hands behind my back, and tied my feet," the 30-year-old Mullah told CNN, before describing having been scalded after she refused to beat Hannibal's young son when he wouldn't stop crying. "She tied my mouth...and she started pouring the boiling water on my head like this."

Mullah, whose wounds appeared to be in desperate need of medical attention, said she was never paid for her work. "I worked for a whole year; they didn't give me one penny," she noted. "She said, 'No money for you. You just work.'"

Watch CNN's interview with Shweyga Mullah below (WARNING: contains graphic imagery):

Why hasn't she been dragged by her hair back to the scene of her crimes for trial??

She should pay dearly for what she did-- walking FREE should not have been an option!

Middle Eastern rich women can be monstrous. They're worse than the men. The whole lot of them are monstrous.

It's time to free ourselves from oil, and let these grotesque, disgusting, and obscenely wealthy people in the MIddle East go to h *ll.

So the CNN guy left her there and gave her a few hundred dollars for the story....I do not believe it is true...
Anything CNN does you can take your chances about the validity.

we have no time to worry about this nonsense. WHo cares! Nothing can be done and
get over it.

Seriously, United States needs to find a way to get to her and fly her out.
We can put a man on the moon, we can sure as hell get to her and get her out.
We are the USA damit.....
This is wrong on every level. I know for a fact, United States can form up a "hidden" special Ops Team.
Fly in and grab her and take her out to safety out of that country.
This angers me to no end, how humans can treat other humans like this.

USA needs to seriously sniper those guys.
They are like roaches, kill them all and solve the bad infestation problem of this world.

Funny that gets you upset and the 68 soldiers that died last month does not bother you at all.

Why is this such great news ? Look at the lives of maids in these countries....Saudi,Kuwait,UAE,Qatar,...These are the monsters in the true sense of the word...I lived in all of these countries and have seen the brutality first hand ....It rarely come out in the media...All you need to do is go to embassies of Philippines. Sri Lanka & India and you'll see the plight of these women...Its so damn distressing yet amnesty int'l just turns a blind eye (BTW one of the most hypocritical organisations that ever existed) .....Slavery is alive and doing real well but its just not black in color)
06:41 PM on 08/31/2011
TRUE! In Singapore, women pride themselves on being educated and liberated and yet 80% depend on maids that they treat absymally in the name of "training them". Maids from India or Indonesia are preferred over Philippino girls because the Phillipina's are educated and would not put up with as much physical abuse. Hundreds of cases if not thousands of cases of these women pouring acid, scalding oil on these domestic workers....they are not allowed a day "off", they have bedtime curfews, they are beaten and made to eat leftovers, yet their employers are so proud of treating them well by not actually killing them. ......Amnesty Int'l is amazingly blind to the horrific abuse of our modern day household slaves.

He is truly a monster and should be dealt with accordingly. Why DO these monsters get into power in the first place????? This poor woman!! Hope she gets help and relief!!
11:03 PM on 08/30/2011
What a relief to know that she is now receiving medical care! I didn't realize that the Ghadafi's had intervened with the doctors to withhold medical care previously. Not once, but twice!! Is there no end to the depths of their cruelty? To have inflicted this on her, deny treatment and then watch her suffer for THREE months is truly incomprehensible.

Imagine their reaction when the woman they left behind in their hellhole (can't call it a home) to die alone in agony, turns up on worldwide news describing her horrific ordeal and speaking publicly against them. May the kindness and care this family has bestowed on others come back to them tenfold!! They deserve to be recognized as the sub-humans they've shown themselves to be.

I don't even want to think of how many other untold stories and unknown victims there must be
in the forty-two years Ghadafi and his putrid, fetid family have been in power.

I feel so bad for that poor woman and what she has had to endure. I just hope that whomever has done this to her gets the punishment that they deserve. She is in my thoughts and prayers!

What a sad world we live in now,and what kind of heart do a person that does this have,it must be a very sick person,That young girl looks so loving I would love to have her as a sister, because you can tell she knows how to care for you, why would anyone want to hurt her and I wish I could help her but I do not know how to get in touch to help,I have to pray for her because she is an angel and may god take care of her. and I want her to know she has done nothing wrong accept be human

This attitude and behavior are indicative of the very corrupt rich and powerful.
They act as if they are beyond reproach and for all intents and purposes, they are!
Before now, who did they have to answer to?
I see a much better life in her future, albeit a permanently scarred one.

Notice how the Gaddafis made the nanny sleep on the ground on a thin mattress while they live in super luxury. And probably they didn't feed her either, she looks so frail.
