Rush Limbaugh: Obama Wanted Hurricane Irene To Be A 'Disaster' (AUDIO)

Rush Limbaugh said on his Monday show that President Obama was "hoping" that Hurricane Irene would be a "disaster."

Limbaugh firmly came down on the side of those who think that the media oversold the destructive power of Irene. He said that the storm was blown out of proportion to "push the leftist agenda," and tied it to what he said was Obama's desire to have a huge disaster.

"I'll guarantee you Obama was hoping this was going to be a disaster as another excuse for his failing economy," he said. "If he's out there blaming tsunamis, blaming earthquakes, this one [was] made to order, but it just didn't measure up."

Limbaugh knows as much about what President Obama is thinking than he does about sobriety...

The truth of the matter is, Limbaugh would actually have had to spent time with an African American in order to claim he knows anything about what they're thinking. He has not, therefore he does not. And no, passing an African American on the street doesn't count as actual time spent.

If Limbaugh thought the "Leftist" Media oversold the Disaster of Irene he should check in with the people in Prattsville and Windham New York Whose homes and businesses have been washed away or are buried in mud. The farmers of New York and Vermont whose crops have been drowned at peak harvest time and the dairymen of Vermont with no electric to refrigerate and no way to get the milk to the dairy because of washed out roads. He should check in with the families of the dead. This Hurricane wasn't about wind and beach houses on the coat. He's a commentator who doesn't consider the facts of any situation so his information and comments have no basis in reality. They are skewed and worthless.
