Coming out in November, "The Man in the Music: The Creative Life and Work of Michael Jackson" by author Joe Vogel deserves to be on your listed of notable upcoming books. For anyone fascinated by the artistic process of song writing, as demonstrated by the methods of one of the most creative and innovative musicians of our time, this book is a treasure. Interested readers can preview Mr. Vogel's skill as a writer by reading his music blogs on the Huffington Post. There you will find that his knowledge of art, music, his subject, Mr. Jackson, as well as his knowledge of the modern music scene, blend together in a fascinating tapestry to tell the tale of the creative life of a musical genius.

Kudos for good word play. I may buy it just to show my admiration for a good wordsmith.

I am looking forward to the release of Joe Vogel's book, "The Man In The Music: The Creative Life and Work of Michael Jackson," due out in November. Mr. Vogel spent 6 years researching the artistic work of Michael Jackson's adult solo albums. There are numerous accounts of the publishing world's reluctance to publish positive books about Jackson. It is high time for a detailed and insightful look at Jackson's stellar artistic work over the course of his adult life. I have read excerpts from Joe Vogel's upcoming book right here at Huffington Post. If those excerpts are any indication, this book is going to be great. Those who love Michael Jackson's music the way I do, are eagerly awaiting serious academic treatment of his culture changing work.
