Looking for tweets from some of the top tastemakers in tech?

Klout, a company that measures users' influence on social networking sites, put together a ranking of the most influential tech CEOs on Twitter.

These chief executives don't necessarily need to have six-figure follower counts to have clout, according to Klout's ranking system.

Klout assigned each user a "Klout Score" that "measures incluence on a scale of 1 to 100, with 100 being the most influential." So what goes into that number? Klout explains that the score is based on data from social networks, including Foursquare, Facebook, Twitter and Linkedin, that is used to track the following:

How many people you influence; (True Reach)
How much you influence them; and (Amplification)
How influential they are (Network Score)

Take a look at which tech CEOs Klout deemed most influential on Twitter. No female tech CEOs made the list, so check out our suggestions for 27 women in tech to follow on Twitter (plus our readers' picks), as well as our list of female founders to follow.

Haha only a liberal site would come up with stuff like that, equality for equality's sake.

1/2 the people listed are not Tech people. about 1/3 of the people are followed because they make predictions not because they are respected. All in all they may be followed but only a couple are listened to.

Klout is the biggest bullshit ever. it's only based on Twitter obviously, it doesn't give you much details about how it is calculated, there's no "early adopter" factor, their website has lots of bugs (achievement that disappear, people invitation for perk that are not counted...) and most of all...it's completely useless. (Perks are for high Klout score residents in the US)
