WASHINGTON -- HuffPost got a peek inside the Washington National Cathedral Thursday as crews of engineers and stone masons work to repair the damage done by an earthquake last week.
Part of their efforts included installing safety nets along the ceiling of the Cathedral to catch falling debris.
The cathedral plans to reopen the weekend of Sept. 11.
