'Drive' Clip: Ryan Gosling, Carey Mulligan's Dramatic Kiss (VIDEO)

While the expert driving and smoldering tension is billed as the primary draw to the critically acclaimed B-style movie "Drive," there's also a love arc between two of the most beautiful people in Hollywood to keep eyes glued to the screen.

Ryan Gosling, who plays the auto mechanic/stunt driver/getaway man at the center of the film, finds himself in a complicated romance with a single mother played by Carey Mulligan. A night together goes awry as dangerous business springs up, leaving Gosling's Driver to handle with mob threats while protecting Mulligan from danger.

The clip below shows the intersection of their courtship and the danger in which he's embroiled himself, with the silence only heightening the drama.

The film, which premiered at Cannes (winning Best Director for Nicholas Winding Refn), will also play at the Toronto International Film Festiva. Christina Hendricks, Albert Brooks and Bryan Cranston co-star. Check out the clip below.

I'd say! Dang, RG you lucky dawg! I first saw Carey Mulligan in "Never Let Me Go". She is so cute and yet has a sweet melancholy about her, a soulful tenderness or fragility that you'd want to savor only gently even while your heart-blood gets all hot inside. There was a scene in that movie where she finally consummates with her long lost true love. Incredibly tender, I got all sweaty!
