It's funny how something as small as a tarantula can send grown adults into a panicked frenzy -- and an entire news broadcast completely off the rails. At least that's what happened when Jim, a local Fox affiliate weatherman, caught sight of a giant spider on set this week.

"I will punch you if you even get close to me," is just one of the more ridiculous things Jim says from the far corner of the studio while a not-so-empathetic anchorman taunts him with the spider on his arm. To be fair, Jim says he has no problem "jumping out of airplanes," and just has arachnophobia. We can't say we don't feel for the guy. He's so affected by the spider that he straight-up abandons the weather report.

You know a news blooper is headed for YouTube when one of the anchors actually says, "Somebody needs to do the weather."
