Redbox is our new friend. A dollar a pop is more expensive but convience wins out. I've all but given up on Netflix streaming. After three months you burn through the good movies the rest are old or not worth time spent watching. Netflix is in serious danger if newer movies fail to be provided for streaming.

My internet connection is too weak to get HD. Starz seems like the only content provider that had new movies. Since Netflix separated streaming from DVDs and the price tag for both is 60% higher than before I hope they get better content. Honestly I use Redbox for new movie releases, and Netflix DVD for cable miniseries like Dexter. The streaming service is good but limited. Only the first two seasons is available for most cable miniseries. Now that all seasons of Madmen are available I can at least use the streaming service for that. Netflix also has foreign films like the original versions of "Let The Right One In" and "The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo" Trilogy.

Another stub of the toe in such a short period of time. You know, Reed, some of your customers (in this case, a recent former customer), some of your customers do read the financial times when it comes to what your firm has done, is doing, and will do. You might want to start from scratch in certain areas, like marketing. But, if you didn't know, your stock is tanking right now.

Starz is only 8% of what people subscribe to on Netflix according to the article. With that said, it's smart business ethics to allow the contract to lapse. All four major television networks are putting their shows on Netflix, and along with first run films, nobody wants to watch standard definition films from the Starz section.

I've streamed tons of Netflix content, but never anything from Starz. The quality of all the Starz content sucks, I'll be happy to see it go.

I LOVE NETFLIX. Please don't destroy it the way Napster was destroyed!

Well, Napster was music, Netflix in film, TV. I am glad you see the point I am making.

You're doing a bang up job there, Reed. Subscribe to Netflix Streaming...if you want to watch Attack of the 50ft. Woman or Scooby Doo reruns.

Ever see Comcast's On Demand selection? Literally both of those things on there.

That's why I got rid of Comcast. At least watching cr ap on Netflix is cheaper, but if it keeps up, I won't bother with them either.

And here's why we as consumers don't care about Starz - No HD. Good riddance to them.
