This year, Labor Day arrives on the heels of news that the economy added no jobs during the month of August, just the latest sign of an economic recovery that appears to be quickly losing steam. Indeed, consumer confidence has dropped to its lowest level in two years. But is it affecting how people plan to spend their holiday weekend?

According to the below infographic by Visible Technologies (via The Atlantic), airline ticket sales have not shifted downwards in the last year, perhaps a result of America's low-cost airlines.
