Camille Grammer Chooses Daughter Over Promoting 'Housewives'

Camille Chooses Family Over 'Housewives'

On Monday "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" invaded New York to promote the new season of their damaged show and although Taylor Armstrong was absent for obvious reasons, there was still one more housewife noticeably missing -- Camille Grammer was nowhere to be seen.

“Kyle, Lisa and Adrienne and their husbands flew into town Sunday while Kim flew in Monday. Camille, on the other hand, decided not to go because her daughter started school today and that was much more important to her than promoting a TV reality show,” a friend of Camille tells me.

And while the four press-eager ladies did their best to answer questions about the suicide of Russell Armstrong and whether or not their reality show was to blame, Grammer was happier to spend time with her real family.

“These ladies aren’t real friends," an insider tells me. “They are put together to make good TV. After what Camille has been through with her ex and now after the tragic death of Russell, she decided she would rather spend time with her daughter than reaching for fame that doesn’t really matter.”
