GOP Debate: Newt Gingrich Attacks The Media Again (VIDEO)

Newt Gingrich decided to fall back on his "attack the media" act during the NBC GOP debate on Wednesday. (Gingrich had a series of arguments with moderators during the last Fox News debate.)

Telling moderator John Harris that he would "repudiate" any and all media organizations that used the debate format "to get Republicans fighting with each other," Gingrich went on an extended harangue, similar to one at the Fox debate. Naturally, in both situations, the debate organizers were simply trying to help voters determine the differences between the candidates. (And in case Gingrich failed to notice, Perry and Romney very happily fought with each other right at the start of the debate, without being prompted.)

"You want to puff this up into some giant thing," Gingrich said, about the differences between Romney and Perry on health care. "Everyone up here is against Obamacare," he added, pointing out something that no one needed a televised debate to determine. He went on to insist that the entire slate of GOP candidates were part of "a team" dedicated to removing Obama from office.

The Republican Party resembles the old Soviet Union model of a Party. They tolerate no decent, they tolerate no questions. If you question or disagree you are the enemy. Very scary folks. Even those of you who are Republican should be weary. When no-compromise is the order of the day, dictatorship is the name of the game.

LOL...Have you even read this borad that you are posting on? Talk about no tolerance for dissent. Anyone who disagrees with Obama is a racist...even though we disagreed with his forst term when he was Jimmy Carter. The liberals constantly attack the messanger because they cannot attack the message. You guys had your way for 3 years with no dissent allowed. Gas prices up over 100%, unemployment up over 2 million, debt up over 35%....that's what the liberals have done...and if we complain or ask for change...we are racists. And I don't think they asked him many more questions after that display. He let the whole tv audience around the country know in no uncertain terms that their main priority was to make Obama fail any way they can and make sure he is not re-elected. That was a specific point he made and therefore took any and all compromise off the table between the two parties.

He has sealed the republicans fate in this election to make sure they can't win a damn thing now.

All "The Republicans" in Congress have been doing is running against Obama. Try taking the job seriously and work for Americans. Obamacare IS the Republicans plan - not the Democrats. It is a gift to Insurance and Pharma Corps. What would really serve people is a Single Payer Plan, but no one cares about that!

Newt, the purpose of a debate is to argue and present your ideas to persuade people to think like you. If you have the same agenda, what's the point of debating. The American people in this case Republicans have the right to hear what each debater stands for, what makes a particular person stand out from the crowd. Once one person is elected to run for president, then it is an obligation to work to beat Obama. if you don't want to debate stay home or drop out. You all appeared as a bunch of bobbleheads when Newt attacked the moderators.

The phrase "dedicated team trying to remove Obama from office" says it all: we don't have a plan, we can't tell you what we would do nor how we would do it with filibusters stopping everything but if we just get him out of office, all will be well. You trust Republicans? Of Nixon, Reagan, Bush and Bush, only Reagan left the country in better shape than when they took over. It is the definition of insanity to vote for the party of supposed fiscal responsibility and think they will change what they do.
