Has it been 15 years already?

Latina magazine celebrates its 15th anniversary with a special collector’s issue, ā€œ15 Latinas We Love,ā€ which highlights fifteen of the most influential Latina celebrities on its October 2011 cover since the magazine hit the stands 15 years ago.

In the 3-page fold out cover, from left to right: Shakira, Selena Gomez, Salma Hayek, Zoe Saldana, Eva Longoria, Gloria Estefan, Michelle Rodriguez, Jessica Alba, Daisy Fuentes, America Ferrera, Rosario Dawson, Ana de la Reguera, Natalie Morales, Rosie Perez and La La Anthony.

Latina’s 15th anniversary issue took 9 months of planning, 7 photo shoots, more than 100 red designer dresses and upwards of $10 million in jewelry to create the triple gatefold cover, which hits newsstands on September 13th.

A hour-long special, ā€œAccess Hollywood & Latina Magazine present 15 Latinas We Love,ā€ will bring the cover to life. Natalie Morales, news anchor & co-host of NBC’s Today show and Latina’s parenting columnist, will host the weekend edition of Access Hollywood. ā€œ15 Latinas We Loveā€ airs next weekend on September 17th & 18th – check local listings for times.

Latina.com has dedicated a special section celebrating their 15th anniversary highlighting their cover stars throughout the years and 15 favorite Latina brides. There, fans can let Latina know what they think about the cover. However, it looks like fans and celebrities featured on the cover are already beating them to it on Twitter. Don't forget to take our poll, "Which Latina Wore It Best." Check out the slideshow below:

The picture is not right. we want to see Latin of all color in the picture. Just make me wonder why they do this. I stop watching Spanish TV got tire of the same bloodless face and bleach hair, ridiculous

Only a few of the ones above are like that. Most of them are of mixed background and look likle it too.

We are all mixed there is no such thing as a pure anything our Heritage although Spanish is vast. I have a daughter who has light blond hair and blue eyes then I have another daughter who has dark brown hair and brown eyes they both have the same dad and so it goes in my family. There is no set look for Hispanics or Latinas we are like everybody else all shapes and Colors.

What are you talking about their are representing women of color. Zoe Saldana, Rosie Perez, Lala Vasquez & Rosario Dawson. All either Puerto Rican or Dominican Republic backgrounds who are women who are Afro Latinas. In fact Zoe even said in an interview

When I go to the D.R., the press in Santo Domingo always asks, "¿Qué te consideras, dominicana o americana?" (What do you consider yourself, Dominican or American?) I don't understand it, and it's the same people asking the same question. So I say, time and time again, "Yo soy una mujer negra." ("I am a black woman.") [They go,] "Oh, no, tú eres trigueñita." ("Oh no, you are 'dark skinned'") I'm like, "No! Let's get it straight, yo soy una mujer negra." ("I am a black woman.")

The ones who deny it are just sell outs but Zoe is not and is truthful about who she is & where she comes from.

Oh, all of them are attractive...

Who needs a Latina magazine if they practice what they criticize: those women all look like they are Euro descendants. No blacks or darker mestizas, and much less indigenous women which form the majority of women in Latin-America, and more so among Latinas in the USA. This is the same form of racism they claim Anglos practice against them.

I hate to admit it, but you're right. These 15% beautiful women don't represent/resemble 90% of women in LAm. Maybe America F (Indian descent) or Zoe S and Rosie P (Afro descent). And it's not because of their privileged bone structure, but because they fit the canons of Western beauty.

Where are the brazilian women?Latina Magazine couldn't find one Brazilian artist to put in their magazine!!!!It's quite outrageous to say the least for a magazine that supposedly represents all Latinas..They have been ignoring Brazilian women for quite sometime..Don't they know that Brazilians are considered latin as well. All the Latinas that they put on the cover are with no doubt amazing women that represent all Latinos, but at the same time the magazine should broaden their image .Only Spanish speakers is not fair .Just Because Brazil speaks portuguese ,it doesn't make it a no-latin-country.Brazilian women are latinas as well and they should get the same respect and recognition like all the rest..I've seen over and over LATINA Magazine ignoring Brazilian women. If this is not discrimination ,quite frankly i don't know it is!!!!
