Bill O'Reilly Shouts Down Jay Carney Over Obama Speech (VIDEO)

O'Reilly Shouts Down Obama Spokesman Over And Over Again

Bill O'Reilly had a feisty conversation with White House press secretary Jay Carney on his Thursday show.

It was Carney's second trip into the Fox News den in two days. On Wednesday, he had a very testy chat with "Fox and Friends" co-host Gretchen Carlson. The conversation with O'Reilly was, in some ways, less contentious, but it was no less lively, especially since it came just after President Obama's jobs speech.

O'Reilly made it clear that he had a panoply of issues with the speech. First, he told Carney that it was pointless to keep banging on about raising taxes on the rich, since Republicans would never allow it. Then he said that he didn't understand why Obama didn't release the full details of how he was going to pay for the American Jobs Act right when he gave the speech.

"Why didn't i get it tonight?" he asked. "Now I have to watch him again!"

O'Reilly's next beef: Warren Buffet. The billionaire has long been close with Obama and the president has frequently used him as an example in speeches. He did so again on Thursday, pointing out that he pays a lower tax rate than his secretary.

"You gotta stop with Warren Buffet!" O'Reilly said. "He's 88 years old or something." He said that Obama's claim about Buffet was "not true," since Buffet paid capital gains tax and his secretary paid income tax. When Carney protested, O'Reilly cut him off.

"Don't try to fool me," he snapped. "I'm not!" Carney softly replied. "It's two different taxes!" O'Reilly thundered. "Warren and the president are trying to fool us. Stop it. Not good."

The talk continued in that vein for a few minutes longer. At one point, O'Reilly explained why he was being so hostile to Carney.

"I'm giving you a hard time but we have to," he said.
