Jessica Hart In Salvatore Ferragamo: Love It Or Leave It? (PHOTOS)

Jessica Hart usually sticks to simple dresses and has previously admitted that her "daily uniform" consists of "jeans, vintage t and Converse." Yet the Aussie model ditched her casual duds for a dressed-up look to celebrate Fashion's Night Out last night in New York City.

Hart attended Ferragamo's Black And White Fete wearing a bold black and white houndstooth dress from Italian designer's Fall 2011 collection (Look 14, if you're curious).

Paired the loud, plunging-neckline dress was a peculiar necklace that looked sort of like a bejeweled piece of plastic tubing, as well as bright red lips and seriously large bun atop her head.

The get-up was a bit strange, but keep in mind that it's no weirder than Lady Gaga's version of a similar houndstooth Ferragamo ensemble that she wore recently on "The View."

Although I do believe that perfectly straight teeth are very boring, her gap is very distracting and I cannot believe she would not have at least filled it in a little. love the whole look though!

I like the return of houndstooth, and I'm finding it humorous that she has a large gap in the decolletage of her dress, a gap in her necklace, and the one between her teeth, too. On some level, the gappy, holey, checky theme works together.

When I was a kid, my cousins had front teeth like that, and I envied them beyond belief. They could spit-shoot pool water between that dental gap with incredible accuracy, and it seemed a rare talent indeed.

Beautiful, beautiful girl.
I can't help it, that gap really spoils her sophisticated look. If you are missing half a tooth in front with such a massive gap and you are not short of a few thousand to fix it, please, please get it fixed.
