Kate Gosselin Fires Back At Jon Gosselin's Unwanted Career Advice

Jon Gosselin had some very tough words for his ex-wife Kate Gosselin after she said she was "freaking out" about her family’s future following the cancellation of her reality show, "Kate Plus 8." He told his ex, "reality television is not a career,” and that she should “get back to a normal life, simple life."

But now Kate is fighting back, telling him to mind his own business.

“I don’t really have anything to say about Jon's comments because he doesn’t live my life,” Kate tells me. “I don’t listen to anything he has to say.”

Jon insists he continues to pay child support and adds “things will work out the way they should work out,” even if that means Kate and the children lose their farmhouse in Pennsylvania.

And don’t believe the rumors that Kate just bought a new Audi TT, priced at a minimum of $50,000. Kate says it's not true.

“No, I didn’t in fact. I bought this car used in April, six months ago,” Kate tells me. “The paparazzi that are following me as we speak chose not to photograph it until after my show was cancelled and make a big deal out of it. I love the tabloid media!” she jokes.

The series finale of "Kate Plus 8" will air Monday Sept. 12 at 9 pm. But something tells me it won’t be the last we see of this amazing mom.

Poor Kate will actually have to watch her children and will not be able to pay someone to do it for her. Aw and the kids will have to go to public school, or at least the ones that aren't already there because they were kicked out of private school. Kate stinks as a parent and has made a circus out of her life and out of her childrens' lives. Shame on you Kate. Child Protective Services should have taken your kids away from you two fools ages ago. Enjoy middle class life. No more free playhouses, free vacations, or anything else. Go get a nursing job, although with your attitude I can't imagine you would be able to hold down a job anyway.

I have never watched the show, but have an understanding that the family is divorced due to the father's infidelity and the mother's uber-bitchiness.

However, I agree with the father that the kids should be moved out of the spotlight until they can decide for themselves whether to re-enter it. All the royalties from the show should go towards the kids future careers and be given to them when they come of age.

Also, the mother should get a job - in whatever field she is qualified. If television, fine: but without the kids.

I say to you Kate, that I would admire any mother willing to put herself in the line of fire of so many apparently jealous people and their comments for the sake of caring for her children. You are a stronger person then I think I could be if I were in your shoes. I wish you all the best in your continued yet endless efforts of providing for those 8 little ones who are counting on you to see them through to adulthood. And if you ever having trouble stretching a normal persons paycheck to cover the cost of all those children's needs I would gladly help in anyway I possible could. Sadly, I doubt those who have made all these degrading comments towards you would ever be willing to do the same! Good luck, God Bless and keep your chin up. I know I for one will miss seeing those 8 beautiful faces each and every week.

Instead why don't we try to be happy those 8 children have so far been given everything possible to provide them with the all that it takes to be healthy, happy and very very lucky they are not unloved, unwanted or the next horror story on the news of a dead neglected child. For Gods sake wish them the means in which to have a roof over their heads, food in their belly, and any health care they may need now that their mother has lost the only job available that it takes to provide for the needs of so many that a normal 9 to 5 job would not cover. Can we at least give her that much? Read on...

So she has a used 2 seat Audi TT, perhaps for those times her children are with their father and he has the van they share to seat all of their children, so what? So she cares how she looks and takes the time to exercise and look her best, how does that make her a bad person? She is always conscious of saving money and not being wasteful and making the most out of everything she has. I think every one of us would more then likely take the free trips and all the luxuries that come with them with a tv network footing the bill. Especially if you knew the chance of giving those experiences to your children were next to impossible without it. When is it a good thing to put down a mother doing whatever it takes to provide the best for her children? I will tell you when, it's a very sad day for our world. Continued, read on...

Last I checked it was no easy task for a stupid person to get a nursing degree. I would like to hear from someone who has a set of twins and sextuplets that keeps a well organized and clean home, who puts healthy well prepared food on the table and in their children's lunch boxes, and nice clothes on their children's back to put this woman down for doing everything possible to provide single handily for her family. We all know reality tv is all about showing only the drama and with 8 children to provide and care for I think she is entitled to have as many melt downs as she wants. What matters is she still wakes up everyday ready and eager to take care of their needs. Those kids would show a whole different side towards her if she wasn't a loving and caring mother. The amount of stress she is under would be enough to make any of us meltdown at about every turn we would make. She speaks her mind and stays focused on providing for her children which is more then I can say for a great deal of people in the world. Just watch the news and you will see a crap load of abused and neglected children living and dying in horrific situations everyday, yet most of these comments put her down for doing just the opposite and I fail to understand why.
