'Twilight: Breaking Dawn' Teaser Trailer Released; Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson And Taylor Lautner In 'Twilight'

First Posted: 09/10/11 11:56 AM ET   Updated: 11/10/11 05:12 AM ET

Twihards are familiar with the penultimate "Breaking Dawn" plot, the salacious details and the titillating photos. But it's the movie we really want.

And so, we're going to deliver. Well, some of it.

Below is a snippet of the trailer for the film. (Don't worry! The whole thing hits the web next week!)

The whole Twilight saga is the most depressing love story I have ever heard. There are no jubilant moments, no glee, giggles, happiness, or anything remotely joyful that other couples sometimes experience. I don't see how Edward and Bella can possibly be so in love when they are so miserable? They have no hobbies, other than eachother and Bella does nothing but cook for her dad and get saved from freaks of nature.

Every teenaged girl I know thinks this is the most insulting, ignorant book and film series (and media frenzy) they have ever been exposed to. "It just gets sillier and sillier" as one recently put it. I wish the rest of the darling demographic would understand that too.

I hate these movies. I can't wait until they are over and I can have my peninsula back without having to drive through a Forks that is drowning in Subway resturants where vampire teeth are stuck in your sandwiches and piles of "Twilight Firewood" and everything in between.

This movie will be wonderful to those that love the series and books; to others, it will be just another vampire story. Remember friends, this is FICTION! It draws you in for awhile and you forget life's reality. That is what movies are supposed to do. The main characters are all quirky and pleasing to watch, which gives them a quality that you want to root for their success in the story. Who cares if the story doesn't follow traditional vampire nuances...it entertains and that's what it is all about! Rob and Kristen are great and I look forward to their many films post-Twilight!

I can't agree more.. it a beautiful story and great book series. History will prove that it will be one of the greatest love stories of all time.

Meh.. there are enough people who DO want to see it and DO like both the books and movies, that it will override those that don't really have any attachment one way or the other to EITHER...

I'm not planning on spending the money to view it in the theater.. but to rent for a couple of bucks? Sure.. why not. Isn't this the book with the hot sex scene (although in my minds eye, my Edward looks VERY different than Robert Pattinson)? I can't remember.. it's been too long.

But...um the vampires are dead??? How can they make babies??? That's why I watch True Blood instead.

I am grateful that my only exposure to this A&F franchise is limited to this site.

Gimme Anne Rice any day over this kerfuffle.
