Lela Rose And Christian Siriano Payless Spring 2012 Shoe Collections Revealed At New York Fashion Week

Designer Shoes You Can (Really) Afford!

While we love New York Fashion Week of giving us the scoop on all the trends to look forward to in the upcoming seasons, sadly most of the clothes and accessories sent down the runway are too pricey to fill our closets.

However, this past weekend Lela Rose and former Project Runway star Christian Siriano paired their ultra affordable Payless shoe lines with their exquisite (and expensive) Spring 2012 ready-to-wear collections. Models worked the runway in $2,000 frocks with $50 shoes--but even the most discerning eye wouldn't be able to make the distinction.

"For Payless, New York Fashion Week is all about runway-to-reality and delivering high fashion at an incredible price for a range of consumers," said LuAnn Via, CEO and president of Payless ShoeSource. "Lela and Christian create rich-looking, special pieces inspired by their creativity from the runway, and we are thrilled to be able to make these designers' unique fashions available and accessible for shoppers."

The mass market shoe company also carries designer collections by Silvia Tcherassi and Isabel Toledo (who designed The First Lady's famous inaugural outfit).

Unfortunately we'll have to wait until the spring to get our hands on the shoes, but here's a sneak peek.
