For those that just can't get enough of Simon Cowell and his expanding empire of music shows cross-continentally, his British export "The X Factor" finally hits America Wednesday September 21st. Frankly, we find it a bit hard to keep up between all of the talent-this, x-factor-that, pop-and-idol-thems, but one thing is clear from this eight-minute, extended trailer: Cowell is intent on manipulating every audience emotion with thunderous music and "three-minutes-to-change-your-life" back stories. We see a new host -- who's yelling from a truck tractor on a highway! drama! -- and a slew of contestants ranging from ages 13-to-42 whose voices could earn them the $5 million cash prize. Fellow judges L.A. Reid, Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger round out the team to find America's next big star with that je nais se quoi factor.
