The Johnny Cash Project: Google Chrome's Crowdsourced Tribute To The Man In Black (VIDEO)

Yesterday was the eighth anniversary of Johnny Cash's death, and Google Chrome was on-hand to commemorate it. Bear with us, here. Google revived their crowdsourced Johnny Cash art project/ad, which is a final, fan-made music video for Cash's posthumously released song, "Ain't No Grave." Putting the fact that it's promotional for Chrome aside, "The Johnny Cash Project" is a really a remarkable piece of work, drawn together from a lot of talented people. Each Cash fan illustrates a frame of the video, and the project grows as fans from all over the world add on more and more layers. When you watch the video, you can pause at any moment to learn about each frame and the person behind it, like so:
