Seth MacFarlane Reads Charlie Sheen's Obituary At Roast (VIDEO)

The Comedy Central Roast of Charlie Sheen taped this past Saturday in Los Angeles, and HuffPost Comedy was there live blogging and tweeting the night's highlights. In case you missed it, trust us: it was "winning."

The roast airs on Sept. 19 at 10:00 p.m., but you don't have to wait that long to hear some of the night's funniest jokes. For starters, third-time roast master Seth MacFarlane did a great job kicking off the night with some all-too-real material about Sheen's destructive lifestyle.

Needless to say, things got a little dark. Seriously, like, obituary dark. Check out what some might call a "Too Soon" moment from the top of the roast below.

I plan to watch, not because of Charlie being roasted, because of how Charlie will roast right back.... I like his movies, straight or humor!

As I noticed right below, "shelby4087" though the OBIT was out of line...So do I, M. Monroe died at the wrong time, Elvis died at the wrong time, Vic Morrow died at the wrong time and in the wrong way! Anyway, let the feasting begin by the sharks, some of which I NEVER heard about and that should say something about who gets my vote.

This is actually kinda sad. Charlie Sheen used to be a good actor, before he got all caught up in drugs and alcohol. Now he is just a drunken, doped up looser. He acts like a jerk, he treats people like a jerk and he probably doesn't smell very good either. He thinks he is some kind "winner" or something, but he is really just a looser. Charlie Sheen, looser, has been, jerk........

I remember back in the late 1960's and 1970's when they actually would "roast" people that we not disgusting in their behavior. They tended to roast comedians and sometimes policians (okay, they can be disgusting, but not like sheen).

Sheen is mentally disturbed and instead of re-enforcing his behavior, if these people truly are his friends, they would intervene and get him the help he needs. I mean, I'm much older than Sheen but he looks like death warmed over.

You guys can bash the writers all you want but as most of us working people know there comes a time where no mater how productive someone is if they are a big enough troublemaker they have to be replaced. In sheens case if his head gets any bigger its bound to pop like as if he were in the movie "Scanners". The show may or may not suffer, we will see. I AM going to watch it. Hope it does well.

Ill be watching Sheens head for the "Scanners" effect...lol
