Emmys 2011, Outstanding Supporting Actress In A Comedy: Who Should Win? (POLL)

Sofia Vergara Vs. Jane Lynch: Who Will Win The Emmy This Year?

Here's what we know: both Jane Lynch and Sofia Vergara will appear on stage at the Emmys on Sunday night. Whether either of them walk off with a trophy, well, that remains to be seen.

Lynch, who is hosting the whole show, and Vergara, who will be presenting an award, are leading candidates for the Emmy for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy award. Last year, Lynch took home the award for her role as the caustic cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester on "Glee," edging out Vergara's star turn on "Modern Family."

Julie Bowen, Vergara's co-star on "Modern Family," is also up for the prize, which may split the vote between the two. Ageless wonder Betty White has notched yet another Emmy nomination -- her first came in 1951! -- as she looks to add a seventh trophy to her collection. She took home one last year for her guest role in "Saturday Night Live," and first won the Best Supporting Actress trophy in 1975 for "The Mary Tyler Moore Show."

Speaking of "SNL," Kristen Wiig is also nominated, which is interesting considering that she could easily be accepted as the lead actress on the ensemble show. Stars need to submit themselves, though, so clearly she thought this was her most appropriate category. Jane Krakowski, "30 Rock" standout, is up for the prize, as well.
