Christina Crawford To Reveal Mother Joan Crawford's Naked Home Videos

Joan Crawford Nude Video

Broadway, hide your wire coat hangers. Joan Crawford's daughter, Christina Crawford, is developing a one-woman show where she not only plans to reveal new secrets about her life with Mommie Dearest, Joan Crawford, but also show never-before-seen home movies of the screen legend in the nude.

"I began my career as an actress and I've always loved the theater," Crawford tells me. "The play is based on two of my books, the 30th Anniversary Edition of 'Mommie Dearest' and my third book, 'Survivor' -- both of which were bestsellers. It covers a long period of time and a much more complete story.”

Additionally, Christina reveals that she has discovered Joan's (she never refers to her as her "mother") blue movies -- naked home videos that she cannot believe the controlling star never destroyed.

“I never knew that they existed before a year ago and never saw them before a month ago,” Crawford says. “I remembered her telling me about her married lover, Charles McCabe; however, I never saw photos of him till the home movies, when they were hunting, fishing and canoeing in the Poconos.”

Christina says the most shocking thing she discovered during her research was Joan's quiet desperation in her later years. But she still cannot forgive her mother for the childhood she had to survive, which included being beaten by wire hangers.

“Forgiveness is a two-way street and she never took responsibility for her behavior,” Christina tells me. Which is why she has chosen to call her show, which she hopes to take on the road before Broadway, "Surviving Mommie Dearest."

Christina has to be the most pathetic being on the planet! I mean, honestly! Who's parents haven't messed their heads up in some way or fashion? But NORMAL people grow up and move on! I heard the show in Florida was cancelled due to a lack of ticket sales. Let that be a message to Christina that we are tired of her expecting to garner audiences with these 60+ year old stories! Joan has been gone for 34 years, Christina needs to heal and allow herself to have a proper Life now.

How deranged, damaged and demented do you have to be to show naked home videos of your dead mother to an audience? Yes, it was wrong Christina Crawford was abused but she's not getting back at JC in any way, shape or form. She's been dead for 30+ years! She must be in her 70s... MOVE ON ALREADY!!!

The Value of being humble, grateful, and giving back. Joan, if you listened to her after her last husband died, when people asked her how to have Good Relationships? Always the same: "Be a giver....not a taker...listen."...Maybe Tina was dyslexic? So:

Dear Tina:
One of Mommie's fans was looking out for you, and once again it's MY name that comes back, to save your a*s. There you go, you've got a cause, a book, and all of the fans Bette Davis was supposed to have been ass-kissed to, as well as myself, that you laughed at and made fun all thru your life, seething in jealousy, begging for me to hand You, MY FAME. That's a kick, kid. (lights a smoke...eyes cast down at Tina's dank life, at 72) And you can talk nice about Mommy and do a repent tour, say you're sorry. I know hon, we all are..But surely Tina, you must know, if this is the BEST, YOU did, at 72, it's really time to give "Mommie" a break. Oh well, I tried.
Love,
"Mommie Dearest"
Anyone wants to back my writing in a play, with Faye as the Star, Modern Day Joan, the last five years, call me. I 'got Joan', and I know Faye enough to say, if she didn't really know Joan Crawford then? She certainly does now. That should ring bells louder than any response to a uh, Christina-project.

Christina apparently never heard the commandment to honor thy father and mother. Even her stay at a convent didn't do her any good, or she would have learned that Christians are supposed to forgive other people. Joan Crawford did her best to raise Christina in accordance with her beliefs of right and wrong. Instead of accepting her mother's love and giving love back in return, Christina took sadistic satisfaction in annoying her mother and making their relationship a contest of wills. Christina betrayed her mother's love every step of the way. So did Christopher, Christina's brother. The twins , Cathy and Cindy, were obedient, good kids, so they were left in Joan's will, while the other two were not. I see Joan Crawford as a modern day saint and martyr. She is a victim of Christina's jealousy and hate. And Joan's talent and beauty live on in her films!

Most definitely true...Joan Crawford will live on forever, and thanks to DVD her achievements will never disappear. Once tina darling dies (let's face it, she's about the same age as her mother was when she died), she will lost to history...
In fact, I have a feeling the eldest daughter is doing this idiotic show because she's been caught in too many lies in the last 30 years, and she has a presentiment that afterwards, someone might just put a book out about HER to set the record straight.
The more I read about xtina (and I've read every article and book about her mother) the more I'm convinced that Joan was not half strict enough!

I once helped a friend clean out a house for rental. The previous occupant had an obsession about borrowing books from the library and never returning them. One book she had was Tell It To Louella by Louella Parsons. Book was published in the early 60s I believe, and in one chapter Louella Parsons actually vindicates Cristina Crawford. The episode about the two dresses was proven by Louella Parsons, so maybe there’s some truth to Christina’s book.
However, I don’t understand Cristina’s flippant attitude toward her abusive past. On the RuPaul talk show, she was promoting a special edition to MD, and playing up Mommie Dearest for pure camp! Running around the stage as little Christina as RuPaul dressed as Joan was abusing her to the audience’s delight. Yet, she goes on talk shows with a somber attitude with her personal mission to draw attention to the horrors of child abuse.
Saw her in a performance in a low budget film called Force of Impulse with Tony Anthony. She sure can play a spoiled, rich “rhymes with witch” Maybe she had experience?

Wire Coat Hanger. (Sips Vodka.) Look, if I had know it was going to turn out like this, maybe I would have beat her, only I should have used a bag of quarters, that way when the bag broke I could leave her alone and let her 'clean-up' Ask where Al's Custom T-Bird is that he gave her...or what the faces of my friends/co-workers/execs. looked like, as she talked to them and told them she was writing a book, and told them made up stories in hopes that they would reveal some, too. Those looks, on the faces of MY friends, should have told her how this would eventually turn out. 'Mildred Pierce' if I hadn't won the Oscar I would have jumped off my terrace when I found out about that book.. The Oscar makes the whole ordeal worth it, of course, and the picture is solid, (Turns to the audience, puffs her cigg, exhales) I know, why didn't I see my own daughter coming for me? I played the part for crissakes!? See, (raises her eyebrow) she says I'm acting all of the time, so why didn't I just play the part? Oh, that's right, I did, twice, turns out. Christina never told me though, until she was writing the book, and then, of course Yes, I saw it, too. Clever Tina..but not good enough. Amateur.

Joan Crawford had an impressive career and now she is defined by "Mommie Dearest" and the wire hangers. Cristina should hang it up and get therapy. She can do charity work to help abused kids if her motive to "out" closeted child abusers. Crawford must have been mentally ill if she was tormenting children. Enough already.

Broadway is overrated. This show belongs on the Canadian Association of Fringe Festivals circuit. There are appreciative audiences to be had across the United States and Canada, and she can end the run in New York. Fringegoers are accustomed to the solo-show format and there would be a huge interest.

Is this evil woman unable to leave the dead rest in peace? She not only had to drag her mothers good name threw the dirt 30 years ago, but still has to do it now. I think its disgraceful and disrespectful. If I ever saw Cristina Crawford on the street I’d find the nearest wire hanger and beat her with it! then she can go publish another book entitled "Natalie Dearest: How a Joan Crawford crazed fan beat me to a pulp!" Really, this woman gives me the creeps.
Rock on Joan Crawford! I love you!

Me too-thanks for this!

Well, it's obvious why she was naked a lot - all her clothes were on wire hangers.

Joan Crawford was obviously mentally ill. It made her a fine actress as well. Sad..but true. I feel for her children who were trapped in that unlivable luxury. The story needs to be told.

Christina deserves whatever she can get - putting up with "Joan Crawford" (no wire hangers!) had to be a living hell.
