Olivia Wilde At The Toronto Film Festival: Love It Or Leave It? (PHOTOS)

The Huffington Post     First Posted: 09/14/2011 8:20 am   Updated: 11/14/2011 4:12 am

Olivia Wilde has one of the best bodies we have ever seen. Period. So it's a wonder that she loves covering it up in long, flowing dresses that could double as tents, as she did at VH1's Do Something Awards and at the premiere of her summer flick, "Cowboys & Aliens."

Last night at the Toronto International Film Festival, the star of "Butter" arrived the premiere of her new movie as well as InStyle And The Hollywood Foreign Press Association's Annual Event wearing a white Grecian-style gown by Marchesa with dramatic metallic collar and cuffs.

Posing with her "Butter" co-stars, including Ashley Greene, Jennifer Garner and Alicia Silverstone, Wilde skipped the jewelry (which was a really good call, given her dress's built-in gilt) and carried a small metallic clutch.

The diaphanous quality of the dress was pretty, but we wonder why the 27-year-old starlet continues to dress in old-lady shapes that hide her figure... what gives, Liv?

Below, take a look at the outfit from every angle and tell us: love it or leave it?

Quick Poll

Olivia Wilde's Grecian gown:

LOVE IT!

LEAVE IT.

While I don't believe this dress does her justice (she is really stunning), i think she can pull it off. She looks comfortable and graceful. And I'm always impressed by how poised and elegant she is. Most of these young starlets are so slu**y in their skin-tight Herve Leger, but Olivia (and Keira too) are always so fresh and delicate looking.

I love it. So nice to see someone in something that has some real style and doesn't look like a carbon copy of everything else out there.

At first I thought yuk, but it grew on me.

Yeah, I think it needed a wider waist and definitely needed to be shorter so we could see the shoes (gold shoes? that woulda been flashy and kinda neat)

Very pretty lady, very pretty dress ... very feminine. However, as some have posted, she would not look good in burlap, or a gunnie sack ... no one would.

I support your right to disagree.

She could wear the bag the dress came in and it would look good. This one does make her look a bit too matronly though.

She looks good in anything, though I'd prefer her in nothing at all.

Ms. Wilde could wear a burlap sack flecked with mud and manure and she'd still be a hot lookin gal

If it only had a hood it would cover all the flaws and be a keeper for a career's worth of wear.
